Boat of Garten - Badenoch & Strathspey
UKNIWM Ref no. 5910

The Boat of Garten war memorial is a grey granite cenotaph set on a rustic cairn. The commemoration and names of the dead are listed on polished granite tablets set into the face of the pedestal.
The monument stands on the main street in front of the kirk.

Note all three Second World War dead served in the RAF and died within a few months of each other in 1944. Squadron Leader Grant died on D-Day.
