I found this book on the island: Colonsay's Fallen, biog details of both war's casulaties plus other servicemenr buried on the island. Cost me £10.00.

The book "Colonsay's Fallen" by Alan Davis 2004 - Colonsay Books . The story of island folk who gave their lives serving in the World Wars of 1914 -1918 and 1939-1945 , together with other casualties of war for whom this beautiful island became a final resting place .

Hard back is £20 soft back is £10

Copies are still available from the Colonsay Bookshop , Isle of Colonsay , Argyll PA61 7 YR



Has photos of the War Memorial for Colonsay and its 16 Great War dead and its WW2 war dead ( 3) .
