According to the Post Office Archives web site <postalheritage, org.uk> there is a war memorial tablet at the Delivery Office, 20-24 Brandon Street, Hamilton. A photo of this memorial is available on the above site.

The Memorial has been removed from the main Post Office building, which has closed, and re-positioned in the parcel collection office. It is visible to the public.
Thanks to the staff members for allowing me to photograph the Memorial.
