Could those of you who have contributed transcriptions of memorials at Adams or my request please send me a Private Message indicating how you wish to be credited. I know most of your full names but if you prefer to have a middle initial I need to know.

You can of course post in this thread but if you prefer not to divulge your full name here that's understandable.

I need proper names in order to give you credit for your work. We're reaching a stage of publication so I need this information finalised fairly soon.

Thanks,

David

We still have a small number of Dumfries and Galloway memorials to be transcribed.

Could anyone who can spare some time to get these ones completed please send a Private Message to Adam?

Thanks,

David

Hi David and Adam,

I'm sorry that I haven't contributed to the transcriptions in the way that I hoped but my book was very time-consuming (just finished it at the weekend). I will do some of the Kirkcudbrightshire memorials:

Dalbeattie
Dundrennan
Haugh of Urr
Kirkbean
Kirkcudbright
Kirkgunzeon
Laurieston
Parton
Twynholm

I will look up my correspondence with Adam from a few months ago to read over the guidelines.

Cheers,

Stuart

From my recent posts you'll have gathered I've been going through this list transcribing some of these memorials. If you are transcribing any of them please let me know.
