UKNIWM Ref: 44445

Located in Leswalt cemetery at OS Map Ref: NX 014 638

Although in good general condition, the inscription needs some repainting to be easily legible.

Two of the men listed. Cpl Richardson was awareded the DCM

Date of Death: 23/03/1918
Service No: 266937
Awards: D C M
Additional information: Son of John and Jane Richardson, of Weirston, Kirkcolm, Stranraer, Wigtownshire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Bay 8 and 9.
Memorial: ARRAS MEMORIAL

This chap is listed under the unit MR which suggests Manchester Regiment but as Paul points out above is manitoba Regiment which is strange beacuse the other men who served in Canadian units are listed together
