I finally got back to photograph the missing WW2 panel, and while I was at it, take a better shot of the monument now that the roadworks have finished.

Nice update and a very nice memorial in a good setting. I notice the Second World War names for the King's Own Scottish Borderers are KOSBs rather than KOSB, a nice little touch.

Is this the William Farrow listed?
FARROW, WILLIAM
Rank: Lance Serjeant

The 25th Bn Royal Fusiliers was the Frontiersmen battalion. RFLF on the memorial is perhaps Royal Fusiliers, Legion of Frontiersmen? _________________ Scottish Monuments & Memorials |
