I finally got back to photograph the missing WW2 panel, and while I was at it, take a better shot of the monument now that the roadworks have finished.

Nice update and a very nice memorial in a good setting. I notice the Second World War names for the King's Own Scottish Borderers are KOSBs rather than KOSB, a nice little touch.

From the Second World War names young Robert Hutchison was a Cabin Boy lost on the Convoy Rescue vessel SS 'Stockport'

Date of Death: 25/02/1943
Additional information: Son of Lewis and Mary McRobert Hutchison, of Closeburn, Dumfriesshire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 101.
Memorial: TOWER HILL MEMORIAL
