A recently published book called "The Spirit of the Troops is excellent" - The 6th (Morayshire) Battalion , Seaforth Highlanders in the Great War 1914 -1919 by Derek Bird .

This book has a foreword by Lt Col Grenville Johnston, OBE ,TD Lord Lieutenant of Moray .

This publication has 229 pages of facts and shows photographs of the Unveiling of the Lossiemouth War Memorial on Sunday ,2 August 1922 and the Unveiling of the Fochabers War Memorial on the evening of 8 June 1921

This book is an excellent book with many photographs of casualties of that war and is written by the very enthusiastic Chairman of the North of Scotland Western Front Association

There is a note inside the book recording these details : Roll of Honour

To Accompany the Publication of my book "The Spirit of the Troops is Excellent " I have created a Roll of Honour to commemorate the fallen of the 6th (Morayshire ) Battalion Seaforth Highlanders in the Great War .

This can be found on the Internet at

http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/wfasnb/Roll-of-Honour/Index.htm

Or via the Western Front Association , Scotland ( North) Branch website at
