This book called "Archibald Don - A Memoir - edited by Charles Sayle and published by John Murray , Albemarle street, London in 1918 has a Prefatory note from L. F. Don dated march 1918 .

The book covers the family of Robert Bogle Don and his wife Lucy Flora Campbell or Don and living at Seafield Cottage Broughty Ferry .

Then it goes onto the War Service of Lieutenant ARCHIBALD WILLIAM ROBERTSON DON . 10 (Service) Bn The Black Watch in France and Salonika . It mentions being in billet in a room in Salonika with Arbroath born Lieutenant Patrick Wright Anderson ,10th (Service) Bn The Black Watch . It also covers the death of Lt Archibald W R Don and in the final para it mentions his younger brother , 2nd Lieutenant Robin Don reported missing in action with the 10th (Service ) Bn The Black Watch in Salonika after an attack on Bulgar positions on the night of 8-9th May 1917 .

Lieutenant A W.R. Don and 2nd Lieutenant Robert M. Don , 10th (Service) Bn The Black Watch are listed on the war memorial at Tealing Angus and on the Scottish Episcopal Church ) St Marys at Broughty Ferry.
