Kingskettle - Fife
The Kingskettle war memorial is a small roadside shrine built of freestone with relief carvings and with the dedication and names of the fallen on white marble panels set into the face. The monument is set into the wall of the kirk on Ladybank Road.

Unveiled on Saturday 3rd of April 1920.

(Glasgow Herald 5th April 1920)
"A monumental memorial erected outside the public hall to the memory of the 56 men of the parish of Kettle who fell in the war was unveiled on Saturday afternoon by Major Lawson of Annfield. A mall marble tablet, the gift of the ex-service men, placed beneath the memorial, was unveiled by Lieut. J. Fraser M.C. Black Watch. Mr David Beveridge, The Poplars, presided, and the ceremony was taken part in by the Rev. A.E. Gordon, Parish Church, the Rev. J. Gilmour, Kettle U.F. Church, and the Rev. W.L. Craig, Cults U.F. Church. A bugler sounded the last post."
