Pte Alex Ponton KOSB

Died on 14/10/16 at Temple Hall of T.B. and is buried in Hobkirk Churchyard. However the family lair cannot be located and the CWGC have added Alex to their database 11/5/09 and his name will be commemorated at Brookwood.

The war memorial for Hobkirk parish, which has been erected at the cross-roads at Bonchester, was unveiled yesterday afternoon by Sir Robert Usher, Bart. of Wells.


I'm presuming this is the same memorial?
