Not there unfortunately however I did manage to find something in a google cache. Text only and no photos, this seems as good a place as any to give it some extra life.

Roll of Honour
"They gave their lives that we might live" - killed in action during World War II

Memorial in Aeterna. The Woolworth War Memorial was carved in oak and inlaid with gold. It does not include the names of the fallen. We are proud to honour all those whose names we know. Rest in Peace.

I believe the numbers are branch numbers - only a couple seem to have worked in Scottish branches.

I wonder if we've got them here on other memorials?

Glad I bothered to save the names from this English memorial because we now know a little more about a name on one of 'our' memorials.

Wonder if there is anything like the Woolworth memorial that we should be getting from down south? I have seen banks, Post Office and rail memorials mentioned - anyone think of what else we should be looking for? How about shipping lines or insurance companies?

One Railway company lists its Scottish employees on its national memorial in York I think.

Many overseas banks with London offices employed Scots too. Insurance companies would be full of Scots like you say Spoons. Canadian Banks attracted former bank employes from Scotland so I wouldn't be surprised if Canadian railways and police etc. attracted Scots too.

In the UK shipping lines would be a good place to look. And not just UK companies. We recently had a Scottish Master of a Japanese merchant ship listed on the SWGP.

Post Offce is a good one because of course it included the telephone service too. Again this experience was probably something that men took to overseas companies.

Also Civil Service memorials, hospitals, schools (masters and pupils), engineering firms.
