Further info

Sgt A.P. Cliff-McCulloch was the Rear Gunner of 138 (SD) Sqn Halifax LL276 NF-F that had departed RAF Tempsford, Bedfordshire for SOE Ops (Special Operations Executive) Osric 74 on 01/06/44

The aircraft was intercepted at 1700m over the sea off Walcheren by a Night-Fighter captained by Fw Willhelm Morlock (III/NJG1) and shot down for his 4th Abschusse

The aircraft crashed at Halsteren 4km NNW of Bergen op Zoom, Holland

Five of the crew were killed, three became POW
