This plaque is currently located in the Royal Highland Fusiliers Museum in Glasgow. It is not on display to the public, so my thanks to the staff for permission to photograph it.

This is the man who led the defence of the Foreign Legations in Peking during the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.
David Niven's character is based on MacDonald in the film '55 Days in Peking'
