Adam,

You have missed Capt. G.R.H. Boswall and Capt. W.F. Somervail from your list. I just did a very quick CWGC check and could find neither of them. Do you know what is going on?

The Hon. CHARLES HENRY MURRAY ST. CLAIR also appears on the Bonchester War Memorial and it is no wonder when you read his CWGC entry:

Son of the Rt. Hon. Charles William, 15th Baron Sinclair and Margaret Jane, Baroness Sinclair, of 55, Onslow Square, London; Nisbet, Duns, Berwickshire; Herdmanston, Pencaitland, Haddingtonshire

Just found Boswall in the Grenadier Guards records. The confusion was caused because the memorial has omitted the hyphen from Houston-Boswall and he is under 'H'!!

He served with 4th battalion, the Grenadier Guards and was reported missing on 27.9.15. during the Battle of Loos and is assumed to have died.

I've caused a bit of confuison with the way I've lised them.

FULTON SOMERVAIL , William , Captain DSO MC , Scottish Rifles
HOUSTON BOSWELL , George R , Captain Sir , Grenadier Guards

I'll amend it so Capt Somervail is in the correct place.

The Scotsman, Tuesday 21st December 1920, Page 8

EDROM

Lady Houston-Boswall, Blackadder, unveiled on Sunday afternoon a war memorial in the form of a Celtic Cross which has been erected to the memory of 46 officers and men from the parish of Edrom who fell in the war. Major Logan Home, Edrom, gave a short address, and the monument was dedicated by the Rev. John McKechnie, parish minister.
