If you are new to the Scottish War Memorial Project Forum you will see a lot of photographs.

Our main aim just now is to record and photograph every war memorial in Scotland. That is only one aim though. We also want any and every snippet of information about the memorial added too.

Information on the men and women listed; information on the memorial itself - Why it was built where it was built. Has it has been moved? Has it been renovated?

We would welcome more photographs of old locations of the memorial; unveiling ceremonies; remembrance ceremonies. You can even post more photographs of a memorial already posted, the more images the better. Please feel free to add photographs and extra information on the people listed on the memorials too.

If you know someone is listed on another memorial, on the forum or not, please let everyone know with a post.

If you only look at one area of Scotland please have a look at other areas too to see what sort of posts we are getting there.

This is a forum and that means any member is entitled to post on any thread they wish to. No piece of information about a memorial is too big or too small to be left off this site so please post whatever you can find.

Finally don't worry about posting things in the wrong section; the Moderators will be on hand to sort things out.
