Hey Everyone, Just thought i'd say a quick hello.
My names Kevin and I live in Kilwinning, Ayrshire. Originally from London, I moved to Scotland 10 years ago.
I came across the website whilst researching war memorials for my hobby, Geocaching. I intend on visiting as many of the Ayrshire memorials as possible and will post recent pictures from each of the memorials I visit. If I can get any information for anyone please let me know.
In addition, is there a listing of who to report damaged or graffiti'd memorials to? I was at Dalry yesterday and found some charming kids have written their names all over it. |

Welcome to the forum. Each council have a designated person for memorials. Dalry memorial has been a target for grafitti for years, I suspect the coucil are fed up cleaning it and let nature wash it off.
Happy snapping

Hi Kevin,
Great to have you on board. It will be a fantastic bonus to have pics of Memorials we don't have from your neck of the woods. Enjoy.
