"Serial Range PD198 - PD444 This aircraft was one of 200 Lancaster Mk.1s ordered from Metro- Vick Apr43 and delivered from Jun44 to Dec44 with Merlin 22 engines.
PD319 was delivered to 550 Sqdn Sep44 No other operational history. No record of total hours.
PD319 was one of two 550 Sqdn Lancasters lost on this operation. See: NG133
Airborne 0647 from North Killingholme. Crashed to the NE of Duisburg, though all are buried in Holland at Venray War Cemetery. It is likely that an American Graves Investigation Unit found their bodies as it is known that Sgt Lewis was taken to the US Military Cemetery at Margraten. These memorials are WMR 57990, 85207, 85219 and 85220 respectively.

There are also apparently-
a Vellum Roll of Honour for the 3 forces and both wars- WMR 7411
and a table reading 1914-1918/THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE-( part of 57990 as the Dundee Courier dated 29 December 1926 confirms that the plaque and table were 2 parts of the same memorial scheme)

at this Police Station
