Can anyone help?
Unfortunately the information I have is sketchy. The person I seek is supposed to have the surname Cameron Brown with the Initial J he died in WWI If anyone can help and even has pictures I would be grateful.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum. I am afraid that you are not likely to find your man on CWGC or SNWM with only that info (see the links section if you are unsure of these). There are no Cameron Brown or Cameron-Brown listed on either so I can only assume that he served as Brown with Cameron being a second christian name. As for Brown J C - well CWGC records 1,000 men with these details, so I think you need to come up with a regiment or date of death from other sources first. Do you perhaps have a town or village where he lived to check the local memorial?
Photography is not permitted at the Scottish National War Memorial (the only memorial where it is forbidden as far as I know).
