I have a confession to make: I have no idea where Twechar is. It's so long ago that I took these photographs that I'm having trouble remembering exactly where it is! I think it's located near Kilsyth, and I promise I'll get a map reference sooner or later.

Anyway, this link features a photograph of the unveiling of the memorial. It's the third photo on the page.

The memorial was erected by Glasgow monumental sculptors Messrs. Scott Rae. Their daybook entry reads:
Order No. 5606, Twechar, Grey Cross, Erected November 1920, Daybook 227.
