From the Second World War names George Robertson was a Merchant Seaman lost on the Convoy Rescue vessel SS 'Stockport'

ROBERTSON, GEORGE NOBLE

Regiment/Service: Merchant Navy
Unit Text: S.S. Stockport (Grimsby)
Age: 32
Date of Death: 25/02/1943
Additional information: Son of Peter and Isabella Robertson, of Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 102.
Memorial: TOWER HILL MEMORIAL

Ann,

You can add this to your Aberdeen page

Private Milne was born in South Shields and was the son of David Stephen Milne, of Pitfour, Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire; He was married to Janet Milne, of Coltness Mains, Wishaw, Lanarkshire, and had enlisted in Dumfries. Thomas was 24 years of age. Private Milne died of wounds on the 6th of May 1917 in Palestine
