I have a photo of what appears to be the inauguration ceremony after the First World War.
My great uncle Robert Huntly is listed on the memorial.
How can I add this photo to the website? _________________ Peter Huntly |

I notice the additional plate with 2 Johnston names. Does anyone know when it was added or the circumstances?

Thanks Adam!
If anybody could provide any further information about this ceremony which may have been in the papers at the time for example I would be very grateful.
Regards
Peter

This is a photo of my great uncle Private Robert Huntly of the King's Own Scottish Borderers who is commemorated on the Coldstream Memorial.
He was born at Edington Mill, Chirnside, Berwickshire on 26th May 1893 and was killed in action at the Battle of Ypres on 20th September 1917. He is buried at Tyne Cot Cemetery, Zonnebeke, Vlaanderen, Belgium. Grave Ref: XXIX G 12. Epithet on the gravestone chosen by the family from Revelations 3.4 "They shall walk with me in white for they are worthy"
He was the son of James and Agnes Huntly nee Fullerton of the Hirsel Poultry Farm otherwise known as Cockburn's Lodge, Coldstream.
