(Will at NAS) Service returns show age 27. has received information of the death in action of his eldest son George Andrews. Before the war he was employed in agricultural work. He was killed by a shell while with a working party. Adanac Military Cemetery Fr 0239 Plot II Row E Grave 26 Buch. Obs 19/12/1916- Longside.

Mr James Buchan, Tailor, Finnie's Buildings. Among the recipients of the MM in the list of war honours just published apears the name of James Buchan, GH. Pte Buchan who is in the signalling section and has been at the front for over a year. Puchevillers British Cemetery Fr 0074 Plot VI Row B Grave 5 Buch. Ob. 14/11/1916 - Mintlaw Mintlaw and Longside if this is the same man.
