| The West Side Memorial stands in the village of Bragar, along the main A858 road, between the Whalebone Arch and the sideroad leading to the village cemetery. It is located outside the village meeting hall. |

The memorial was inaugurated in October 2005. Unfortunately, the paint has already started to flake off the lettering in places, testimony to the harsh conditions in Lewis.
The plaques are mounted on the inside of this circle.
