Hello all,

My name is Murray and I am brand spanking new to this site. I hope to contribute some knowledge to the Boer War Memorial in Edinburgh.

Hopefully, I'll post it in the correct place.

Murray

Anne's right, even if it's in the wrong place it can be sorted out. If you are in any doubt though drop us a PM or post a message in the Forum News Section (which incidentally will also increase your posts total to nearer the 'magic' 5).

Glad to have you on the forum. The Great War gets a lot of focus for war memorial research so it's nice to see someone interested in researching a memorial from another war.

Regards

Adam

Hi all,

Thanks for the welcome. At present I am busy compiling a list of all the names that are on the Peebles Cenotaph.

I will post when complete.

Cheers

Welcome also.

If you mean the main Peebles memorial, the names have already been transcribed here http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=820&highlight=peebles
