Poor lighting=very poor photograph I'm afraid. Here's the inscription transcribed

In Loving memory of Captain Edward
Frederick Maltby Urquhart. The Black Watch
Only son of The Rev. E.W. and Mrs Urquhart. Fell
In Action at Pilkem near Ypres. 23 Oct 1914. Aged 37. R.I.P.

This memorial showing the Black Watch badge is in St Johns Scottish Episcopal Church at the west end of Princess Street in Edinburgh .

The Scottish National War Memorial index shows :

Death date 23 October 1914

Rank Of Captain.
