Searching for "Scottish War Memorials" on Altavista brings us up on the first page...
And a search for the same on msn.com has us as the no.1 result!
I've always preferred msn to google.... |

I'm raising this chestnut again.
It may be relevant to all the 'pie in the sky' talk. If the site is the/to be the best resource for Scottish War Memorials ( and it is/will be - no doubts) then it has to come first on google, whatever that takes.
Because it is the No. 1 search engine and most interested in the subject will probably be searching through it.
I don't think it has achieved here, for whatever reason. |

Now number 5 on AltaVista and 10 on Dogpile. Shame that google just does not seem to like forums.

I'll rephrase my last statement. Google doesn't like THIS forum (with a Warmemscot address). The Scottish War Graves forum (phpweb) has already made it to number 5 on the first page of google!
Incidentally, I just noticed a link to our forum on Wikipedia under War Memorials.
