Keig - Gordon District
UKNIWM Ref No. 8590

The Keig war memorial is a rustic grey granite celtic cross with wheel-head set on a tapering pedestal which in turn rests on a series of four steps. The commemoration is set in lead lettering at the base of the cross shaft, and the names of the WWI dead on the face of the pedestal with the additional names of the WWII dead added beneath.

The monument stands in the kirkyard.

Some of the letrtering was in poor condition on my visit and I am not sure about a couple of the names and details here and have put in question marks, but I thought it best to include the lists for now and will correct or confirm them as soon as possible.
