Cuminestown & Monquhitter Parish - Banff & Buchan, Banff District
UKNIWM Ref No. 8572

The Parish of Monquhitter War Memorial in Cuminestown is a grey granite panel set on a rustic base. The commemoration and names of the dead are set in lead lettering on the face. An additional panel has been set at an angle at the base listing the dead of the conflicts in Korea and Cyprus. There are no names listed for WWII which seems unusual and I was unable to check if there were any memorials to WWII dead inside the kirk on my last visit.
The memorial stands in Monquhitter cemetery.
