David Philp Lambert died on the Fern Sanatorium, Forfar, on 24 November 1920. His usual address was 7A High Street Kirkcaldy. He was the son of David Philp and Rachel Lambert. He was 26 years old. Cause of death: Phthisis Pulmonaris and Tuberculous Entiritis.
His Pension Card identify him as a Sapper with the Royal Engineers, service number 252873. He was discharged on 3 April 1919 with Pulmonary TB attributable to his war service.
He is interred at Abbotshall Parish Churchyard.
His case went forward to CWGC on 6 May. |

This one has been knocked back by CWGC on the grounds that not enough evidence to show that his TB was contracted whilst on service. It was also recognised that there was a year gap between demobilisation and death. |
