Location Information: Catterline Burial Ground, Kinneff and Catterline is situated in the hamlet of Catterline; about 6 miles north of Bervie and 6 miles south of Stonehaven. It contains one grave each of the 1914-1918 and 1939-1945 Wars.

James Mercer. Lieutenant of the Rifle Brigade
was killed when on Piqnet at Barba-Del-Peurco in Portugal
on the 19th March 1810 in the 26th year of his age.

Alister Stewart. Captain in the first Bengal European
Regiment. Died at sea on board the ship "Queen"
on his passage home the 31st of March 1846 aged 42.




James Stewart. Lieutenant in the Madras European Regiment.
Died at Madras 16th June 1811. Aged 26.




Fleance Stewart. Assistant Surgeon on board H.M. Frigate
the Java. Died at Penang 11th June 1827 in the 28 year of his age.
