This plaque used to hang in the staircase of the old Laurieston school. It is now located in the Nursery Department of Laurieston Primary School.

It was re-erected and dedicated by Rev. R. J. McDowall on 9th November 1993.

There's only one man named PRATTIS on the CWGC database - killed on the first day of the Somme.

I've just noticed 4 women listed in the 'Those who served' section.

Margaret Crowe and possibly 3 Richardson sisters - Lily, Mary & Nettie.
