This book was published by the Wishaw Press in 1919. It contains an overview of the war, a record of some of the local fund-raising activities, and a complete roll for the men of the district who enlisted. Gives names and addresses, as well as the regiment they served in, and also notes if they were killed, wounded, taken prisoner, or awarded any decorations.
Long out of print, it has been scanned and put on a CD-rom and is available for sale from yours truly. (Yes, this last sentence is a shameless plug!) |

The CD mentioned above is no longer available, but the SMRG are currently transcribing this Roll of Honour with a view to making it available online.
It should hopefully be ready some time next year. |
