I have a casualty who is commemorated on the SDGW but cant seem to find him on the CWGC database.
His name is
John Dougan
Private S/7951
Black Watch (Royal Highlanders)
1st Battalion
Killed in Action
France & Flanders
18/08/1916
b. Kerse, Ayrshire
e. Perth
r. -
I have reason to believe he may be the John Dougan on the Patna War memorial.
Just cant seem to find any furter info on him from CWGC website.
Any ideas?
Regards

I'd say that's him, just the wrong number on CWGC, dates of death are often out by a day or 3 unfortunately. |
