Here is the Stirling District Post Office Workers Memorial which is currently displayed in the public area of the Stirling Delivery Office, 17 Whitehouse Road, Stirling. It was formerly housed in the old Sorting Office at the rear of the (former) Main Post Office, Murray Place, Stirling.
The memorial commemorates the dead of both wars and interestingly includes a member of the Home Guard.
(This memorial is behind glass - please excuse reflected flash.)

Information has been received by Mr Thos. Miller, Teithside Cottages, Callander, that his son, Private Wm. Burns Miller, previously reported missing, is now presumed to have been killed in action. Private Miller before joining the Army was a rural postman attached to Callander Post Office, and 19 years of age.
