The thread for the Kilmarnock Academy WW1 memorial is "locked" so I'm posting this here.
The links shown don't seem to work?

The links to the memorials are:
http://www.roll-of-honour.com/Databases/KilmarnockAcademy/
and
http://www.kilmarnockacademy.co.uk/formerpupilsww1memorial.htm

Just been searching for a former pupil, Robert Templeton, Pte. 202183 5th/6th Cameronians (SRifles) d.26/9/1917 only to find he's not named. Rolling Eyes

Can you give me the link for Kilmarnock Academy? Not sure why it's locked.

It may be that we had the data for the WW1 memorial but didn't make it public yet because we didn't have permission to use the text.

The WW2 Roll of Honour should be there - I have a copy and so the text is my own transcription. It also has other names not on any of the other sites.

I think that thread was locked because there wasn't much on that thread and it seemed to be someone advertising their own site rather than assisting us here. I've unblocked that thread but whatever information is added will be t

There is a thread for the WW1 names but it's not public as we haven't obtained permission to reproduce the text. I've unblocked the other thread but whatever information is added will be transferred to the "hidden"thread once we have permission to reproduce.

The WW2 memorial names are listed here: http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=3088

as stated before this is the FULL list, unlike other sites which have missed the last four names from the Roll.
