During the last few weeks the Dumfries Museum contacted me -with regard to this photo; I passed over details off all material researched.
The Dumfries Museum are busy restoring the photo frame and are starting on a 5 year programme of exhibitions and events regarding the Great War. Money has been provided by Museums Galleries Scotland.
The Men of Mennock shall go around the Scottish Museums during 2014/15 and return back to its home in Sanquhar Musuem to be on display.
