Hi all, My names is Grant and i'm looking for help to trace descendants of the following soldiers as part of a remembrance service in the next month. We are looking for info on William Sneddon 1914 - 1918, Thomas Kerr 1914 - 1918, James Brooks 1939 - 1945 & Neil Livingston 1939 - 1945. If someone could point us in the right direction that'd be much appreciated.

Thanks

Grant A

On the Bo'ness civic memorial William Sneddon is listed as William Snedden. I don't know if that makes a difference?

There is a William Snedden on the CWGC database but he is not on the SNWM database and there is nothing to connect him to Bo'ness.

Hi Grant - sorry I've had no luck with THOMAS KERR.
Do you have anything on him? Is this from a memorial in the church?
Any background might be helpful in trying to pin this man down.

Cheers

I think that tracing descendants is not something that we (or any other forum) are very good at. Appeals in local press seem to come up with results from time to time and the Sunday Post often publishes letters asking for people to make contact. Sorry if that is not particularly helpful.

Good luck
