The above man is listed in the Roll of Honour for Bellahouston Academy.

CRAIG, R B
Rank:Private
Service No:156
Date of Death:02/04/1916
Regiment/Service:Royal Army Medical Corps
Grave Reference C. 186.
Cemetery GLASGOW (CRAIGTON) CEMETERY

As you can see, I've found him on CWGC. I also have his SNWM and SDGW information.

What I haven't been able to find is his death certificate. I have checked Scotlandspeople and there are two service returns. One is a man in the KOSB, and unfortunately I can't check the other as I have run out of credits.

However, I don't think it will be him. Robert Craig died at home, so he would have had a regular death certificate, woulldn't he?

IF that's the case then I can't find any matches for him.

Help!

The reason I'm looking for more information is because, unlike the other men from Bellahouston Academy who died, this man does not have a short biography so I want to write one up for him.

This may still not confirm 100% he is your man, since a lot of the NOK, etc detail we are used to in Scotland is missing from English DC's. If you are lucky his number and unit might be listed or some mention of Glasgow area.
