Location: Culloden Battlefield. Off B9006

Behind the Jacobite front line on the Culloden Battlefield is a memorial to the French soldiers of the Royal Ecossais regiment in the Highland Army.

From what I can find on the internet the stone was placed here in 1994 by the White Cockade Society
The French Stone
This stone commemorates the French
Regiment (Scots Royal) who served
under Lord John Drummond
They stood on the second line of the
Prince's army and fought a brave
rearguard action
Erectd by the White Cockade Society |
