Visited in 2005, no photo taken.

This is on the A861 just south of Shiel Bridge at the junctiion of the B8044, next to a church. 1" grid ref NM 675 684.

Commemorates men from Acharacle, Arevegaig, Glen Borrodale, Kentra Salen and Sheilfoot.

Memorial arched gateway at the entrance to Acharacle Parish Church.

Commemorates 13 men of the Great War and 8 of the Second World War.

Men from Acharacle, Arivegaig, Balilea, Glenborrodale, Kentra, Newton, Salen and Shielfoot are recorded on it.

Acharacle currently falls within the Highland Council area as part of the Fort William and Ardnamurchan Ward

Thanks, I've had a bit of a problem doing Argyll & Bute. Some parts are now in Highland, Ayrshire, Dunbartonshire. Whilst they've taken in some other area too!

Cemetery: ACHARACLE CEMETERY

Son of Duncan and Mary MacKay, of Acharacle.

He is listed on the Memorial on the gate. Again, picture quality is poor.
