A few months ago, whilst meandering through a cemetery (as I do), I came across a CWGC stone in St. Peter's Cemetery in Glasgow to a man named Longlidge.
To cut a big long involved story short, although listed properly on the CWGC database (as Longridge) it has now been arranged for his stone to be changed to the correct spelling and details of his age, parents and wife are to also to be added to the database as soon as possible
I'm chuffed to bits!
