Possibilities are Scots Guards; Argyll & S H; Labour Co; Camerons.

Second one looks like Royal Engineers badge. Definitely not Gordons or Black Watch. |

I would go with ASC too. It is just a shame the badge and shoulder title isn't as sharply captured as the puttees and seat at the bottom of the photograph.
I don't think it's possible to distinguish different artillery branches from the badge. What was LH Artillery? It's not a term I'm familiar with.

This is one who is in either in Forth Royal Garrison Artillery or Lowland Heavy Battery Artillery.
This one could be Royal Field Artillery
However, person at bottom right looks like above to me. He has different initial for forename although surname is same.
What do you think? |
