There are three memorials within the church. WITH THANKSGIVING TO GOD FOR THE LIFE OF H. R. HENDERSON FOUNDER OF THE 107TH GLASGOW COMPANY THE BOYS’ BRIGADE ON AUG 9TH 1906 AND DIED JAN. 11TH 1956 AGE 76 WHILST STILL SERVING THE NEEDS OF BOYHOOD AS CAPTAIN OF THE COMPANY ON THIS ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY “WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT” IN CHERISHED MEMORY OF A MAN WHO ANSWERED THE CALL OF YOUTH AND BUILT GREATER THAN HE KNEW Many thanks to Billy Black for allowing me access to the church.
