There is a brass plaque of those who served in the Great War at the main foyer in Coatbridge College. Once I get enough posts I'll upload a photo of it. |

I've been sent a much clearer image of this plaque but won't be posting it due to the Photobucket logos slapped across everything.
Anyone who wants a copy - let me know.
It comes courtesy of John McCann, https://coatbridgeandthegreatwar.com/

The Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser of 26 June 1915 p.5 has a Roll of Hour for the Coatbridge Technical School and Mining College.
It includes the name LOUIS TOURNOY who was serving with the Belgian Flying Corps which explains why I couldn't find him on CWGC! _________________ Ken |

Many thanks for this information, I searched a bit but could find no connection with Coatbridge, I have a better quality image but can't figure out how to add it here.[/img] |
