St. Cuthbert’s Scottish Episcopal Church, 3 Brownside Road, Cambuslang G72 8NL
OS Grid Ref: NS 641601
Towards the end of the 19th century Cambuslang became an increasingly residential area and the need arose for an Episcopal church. In 1899, Bishop W T Harrison opened a hall on Bushley Hill for worship dedicated to St Cuthbert. Subsequently, the Duke of Hamilton offered land and the present church was dedicated in 1909, the architect being W D Walton of Glasgow.
