Brevet Major Arthur Shepherd, R.A.M.C. age 36 of 34 Morningfield Road, Aberdeen died at Shethin, Tarves, Aberdeenshire on 19th July 1920.
A doctor, he had served in the R.A.M.C. since 1910.

He has been forwarded as a case to CWGC / MOD as an in service death Non Comm. His grave has been located.

The name of Major Arthur Shepherd was added to the CWGC Debt of Honour register today.

Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Major
Regiment/Service: Royal Army Medical Corps
Age: 36
Date of Death: 19/07/1920
Additional information: Son of George and Helen Shepherd, of Tarves, Aberdeen.
N.B.: Recent research has shown that Major Shepherd is buried here.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Section 21 Lair 84.
Cemetery: TARVES PARISH CHURCHYARD
