I’m hoping someone can clarify this with photographs of the plaques. Its location is Upper Hillhead, Lerwick, opposite the Town Hall. It was unveiled in 1924 by Mrs T Hardy from Girlsta who had lost three sons during the Great War. These are the two UKNIWM entries for this memorial. Both titles suggest it is not just the Lerwick War Memorial. Unfortunately the rest of the information is not very detailed. The second entry just confuses things by confirming the location but giving a slightly different name and nothing else. "to church at Lerwick for the unveiling of a memorial plaque to those who fell in WWII". Not sure if that is a plaque on this memorial or there is a separate memorial in the church.
