this roll of honour - are the soldiers here ones killed in the war or those who served? I see my grandfathers name there (he was born 1889) and served in the RN before he emmigrated to New Zealand...but how do I know for sure? _________________ Researching my family history, but sadly and stuck in New Zealand.... Hope to one day win lotto so can visit Avoch and find living relatives |

I would assume it is a record of all those who served and that those who were killed are indicated by the gold mark at the side.
Look on the website for the Avoch civic memorial and the Avoch Church photographic ROH as well. |
