The Scottish Military Research Group - Commemorations Project

Hi everybody, I've just recently joined the SWM Project.
I live in East Kilbride which, being close to East Renfrewshire, I wondered if it would be OK to research the Churches in Busby, Clarkston, Giffnock and the Mearns. Could you let me know if this would duplicate any previous research.

The Churches you mention would be a fantasic addition - good luck in seeking them all out.

I'm not familiar with that neck of the woods, but if you check the area on the appropriate Project Thread, there is a 'Church Memorial' Section, a quick 'click' would show you if any of them have been done already.

The only churches in Renfrewshire posted so far are at http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewforum.php?f=123 and any memorials to individuals, whether in churches or not, are at http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewforum.php?f=125

I look forward to seeing some of the gaps filled.
